I don't know what this bike is worth, so I will keep dropping the price until it sells.

Kawasaki KZ1000 LTD 1980 excellent condition

All original (including levers) except for coils and seat cover.

Bike was parked in 1992 because it ran poorly (bad coil) and the owner moved on to a Goldwing. He parked it in the back of his warehouse. The guy I purchased it from was the second owner and purchased it in 1981. I purchased the bike last fall to restore and sell.

I replaced the coils and cleaned and rebuilt the carburetors. All fuel lines are Tygon. New oil change, air filter, spark plugs, spark plug caps,reproduction seat cover.

The title is clear and licensed for 2024.

This is a piece of history, the beginning of the double overhead head cam superbikes that ruled the drag strips in the 70s and 80s. The price keeps climbing on these bikes.

The air-cooled 1,015cc DOHC inline-four was rated at 93 horsepower when new and features an automatic camshaft chain tensioner, transistorized ignition, both kick and electric starters, quadruple 28mm Mikuni carburetors with accelerator pumps, and a four-into-two exhaust system with chrome megaphone mufflers.
