Precast Concrete Assistant

Weisz & Sons Inc. is seeking a Precast Concrete Assistant to join our Redi-Rock team. Weisz and Sons Inc. has been in business since 1976 as a general contractor.

Summary/Objective

The Precast Concrete Assistant performs functions required in manufacturing pre cast forms. This includes, but is not limited to: stripping and cleaning concrete forms, assembling forms for pouring, and pouring concrete into forms.

Essential Functions

Strips and cleans concrete forms

Performs layout and assembles forms

Pours concrete

Maintains good housekeeping and safety regulations

Load and unload materials

Qualifications and Required Skills

Ability to communicate effectively with team members

Operational knowledge of tools/machinery generally used in construction

Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, multiplication)

Knowledge of basic measurements and how to read a tape measure

Good attendance and positive attitude a must

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Preferred Education and Experience

High School diploma/equivalent desired. Preference given to individuals with experience within the construction industry; specifically working with concrete.
