POSITION PURPOSE /OBJECTIVE:

-Loads, unloads and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site

-Duties consist of helping with equipment preventative/routine maintenance, and good housekeeping practices.

-Transload operator's duties are to keep sand flowing from railcar to truck or into storage.

-Contributes to a positive team spirit and has creative problem solving skills in an ever-changing environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND BASIC JOB DUTIES:

Reads Load Tickets and can follow oral or written instructions for loading materials to be moved and unloaded

Moves material from railcars to trucks or from truck to truck.

Safely operate RBT Transload Conveyors to unload material frac sand

Weighs and records number of units of material transloaded using inventory software, or by hand if necessary

Creates a Bill of Lading for each load either using computer software or handwritten when necessary

Maintains proper maintenance of yard equipment, such as conveyors, Shuttle Wagons, and truck scale Kiosks

Lifts heavy objects by hand

Makes simple adjustments or repairs such as realigning belts or replacing bearings or rollers

Maintains a clean and safe work site and strictly follows the Company Safety Policies

Writes clearly and informatively; able to read and interpret written information

Takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments; commits to long hours of work when required to reach goal

Ability to apply basic math during loading operations, to include fractions, percentages, load rates and volume

Completes other duties as requested by supervisor

EOE Physical/Environmental Characteristics: Working Conditions:

Working overtime as necessary. Driving in yard to load out a job; occasionally driving company light vehicles to perform miscellaneous tasks. Being exposed frequently to extremes of cold, heat, noise, outdoor work, and mechanical, fume/odor, dust and vibration hazards, while properly wearing your protective PPE.
