Leasing Specialist

Spherion Staffing has an opening for a Leasing Specialist in Bismarck, ND. The Leasing Specialist is responsible for guiding prospective tenants through the leasing process, from the initial inquiry to the final signing of the lease. This role involves interacting with potential tenants, showcasing available properties, and ensuring a seamless and positive leasing experience. The Leasing Specialist also plays a key role in maintaining high occupancy rates and achieving leasing goals

Pay $17/hour +commissions

Schedule: This position is full-time, and the candidate must be available to work some weekends/early

evenings, as well as travel without restriction among several properties.

8-hour shift (days, evenings as needed)

Monday to Friday

On call

Rotating weekends

Weekends as needed

Responsibilities:

-Respond to inquiries from potential residents and provide information about rental properties

-Process rental applications, conduct background and credit checks, and verify income and employment information

-Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are completed accurately

-Collect rent payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records of rental transactions

-Maintain a thorough knowledge of the property, including floor plans, amenities, and local community resources

Requirements:

-Previous experience in the property management industry or leasing experience is preferred

-Must have a valid driver's license

-Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills

-Must be organized and able to multi-task

-Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Yardi software systems preferred
