Homemade Ice Cream Made Easier with these Donvier Ice Cream Makers
Have you ever made homemade ice cream? If not, you're in for a treat. This listing is for TWO Donvier Ice Cream makers. We used them when our sons were young for a quick treat, but now that our sons are older, we don't need them anymore. You know, the whole diabetes thing has a hold on us. Anyway, I digress .....................
How does this system work? Basically, you leave the 'chillfast' cylinder (the inner silver part) in the freezer all the time - or for at least 8 hours, if you think that far ahead. ;0) When you're ready for ice cream, simply put the cylinder in the outer part of the maker, add the ingredients, put the paddle into the cylinder, and get to turning. There's no salt or electricity needed. Simply turn the handle every minute or two to "scrape" the sides of the cylinder, and before you know it, you've got homemade ice cream. After eating, wash the cylinder, refreeze, and you're ready for round two (or ten or fifty) of more homemade ice cream. Enjoy ..............
P.S. My favorite was always vanilla .............. what's your favorite?
(By the way, the duct tape and numbers written on the boxes were for identification and security when we came back from living overseas. The ice cream makers are undamaged, not written on, and in perfect working order.)
