9610 John Deere

We have updated machines and headers and so I am selling out the complete line up. This rig is a 1998 9610. It has a few trips around the block for sure. But condition wise, I think it would go up against anything on Bisman that is close to it in age. We have owned this combine since 2009 and over the years, anything it needed, it received. We did not mess around. It has only two seasons on cylinder bars and concave along with many wear parts. I ran Cenex 15w40 oil and Wix filters. Engine oil was changed between 100 and 125 engine hours. It does start to use a bit that last 40-50 hours before changing. Both inner and outer air filters were changed every year. Primary (large) filter was then just blown out several times during the season. Feeder house reverser gear box, countershaft gear box, and cylinder gear box fluids were changed every other year. Final drives were also changed a couple times during the time we owned it. Chopper is a factory JD. We put new hammers in a few seasons ago. Still can be flipped as the non contact side is new. Stationary knives only have one season on them. Has 20.8 x 38 duals up front. Firestone on inside, Armstrong on outside. They are starting to show their age a bit. Rear tires are 16.9 x 24 Firestones and are nearly new.

Although not new by any stretch, these machines were cared for. Stored inside during the off season. Always cleaned off before putting away. Kept the mice out of them. Feel free to call me with any questions. Located near Dunseith ND.
