Macdon 960 30 foot Header

Updated combines and headers so selling this dependable old rig. Ran it on a 9610 John Deere combine. I believe I've owned this since 2016. It has performed terrific. It has fairly new canvases all the way through. I'd guess they have two or three seasons on them. The center canvas I've replaced several times throughout the time I've owned it. And it always wants to spit the ribs off. I've never figured it out. A few years ago, I replaced all the tiny u-joints in the shafts that run it. I did replace one entire shaft. Just last year I replaced the main drive chain that runs in a grease bath. The reel is as straight as they get. There isn't a tooth missing. For the most part, the cutter bar is decent. Some guards are showing quite a bit of wear but the sections are good. Probably a few that are chipped and could use replacing. The wobble box on these early Macdons are John Deere. During fall of 2020, I thought it was making more noise than it should. It was replaced at that time. Belt was replaced then too. Always stored inside in the off season. Call with any questions.
