The responsibility of this position is to assure the safe and timely manner delivery of hose, parts, and equipment to the jobs. Unloading and staging hose reels at locations where needed. Operation of equipment to unload and load all your loads. Properly strap and secure all loads to DOT standards.
DUTIES
Must be able to take orders, instructions, and guidance from supervisors
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Must have a valid Department of Transportation drug/alcohol screening and physical
Must maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Federal and State Motor Carrier regulations and company policy
Must adhere to safety requirements and procedures, and wearing of required safety equipment and clothing
Customer focused take responsibility for customer relationships, appropriately represent WDW on the job site and while transporting equipment and loads on public streets and highways
Problem prevention/solving able to proactively identify and solve problems and enlist the help of other as necessary
Drivers are required to work Monday through Friday and Saturday from time to time
REQUIREMENTS
Operate mainly a skid steer, also tele-handler, front end loader, and excavator
Moderately strenuous work. Must be able to climb in and out of the truck many times a day
Driver must climb on the back of the truck to strap down loads
Driver must wash and clean their trucks with brushes and a hose
Be at work at the appointed time ready to start your shift with proper safety attire and equipment
Perform pre-trip safety inspection of truck in accordance with DOT regulations, including checking fluids such as oil and antifreeze, check lights, and report any maintenance issues to the mechanic before getting dispatched
At the site, the driver must be able to maneuver the truck safely through tight spots, complete paperwork with times, loads to jobs, and JSA
Ensure truck has full fuel tank at the end of the day

Availability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Ability to work safely in all types of weather

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Ability to pass background and drug and alcohol tests.
